3. The purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data
We collect and use personal information for a variety of purposes, including:
- Advisory service
We provide a wide range of advisory services to the agricultural industry, including advice, e.g. on breeding, working environment, law, economics, nature, environment, animal health, management and IT.When we provide an advisory service, it will be based on a case that we create in one of our case systems. The case may involve one or more persons who are part of the case in various ways. If you are one of these persons, whether you are the party, who has ordered the advice, or is an adviser to it, we will process a number of general personal information about you. We use the personal information to communicate with you and to process the case.
If you are the party who has ordered the advice, or is an advisor for it, we process your personal information on the basis of art. 6.1.b of the Personal Data Regulation, (Processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract to which the data subject is a party ...).
In the case of sensitive personal data, the basis for processing is art. 9.2.a (consent) or art. 9.2.f (Processing is necessary for legal claims to be established, asserted or defended ...).
In the case of a CPR number, the processing basis is the Data Protection Act, section 11, subsection. 2 No. 1 and / or 2 (the result of the legislation or the data subject has given consent).
- Education and courses
We offer courses, educations and theme days to all stakeholders in agriculture.When you participate in a course or training course with us, we process a number of general personal information about you. We use the personal information to keep in touch with you before, during and after the activity in question.
We process your personal data on the basis of art. 6.1.b of the Personal Data Regulation, (Processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract to which the data subject is a party ...).
The management can also take place on the basis of art. 6.1.f (the balance of interests rule), where the legitimate interest is to administer courses and send out evaluation forms, etc.
- Sales from online store etc.
We sell and supply a range of products and services that can be ordered through our online stores.When you place an order, we create an order in one of our order management systems and will in this connection process a number of general personal information about you. We use the personal information to communicate with you, to deliver the purchased product or service and for any advice regarding the use of the product or service.

- Software and content services
We offer a number of IT services, including management tools for managing production and finances on farms, IT support for reporting statutory information, etc. to public authorities as well as content services with agricultural content.Access to the IT services takes place on subscription-like terms. When you order an access, we create a subscription in one of our order management systems and will in this connection process a number of general personal information about you. We use the personal information for billing purposes, to provide access to the purchased product or service and to communicate with you regarding the installation and use of the product or service. We also use the personal information to optimize our IT services, for example through error correction, personalization of the service and development of new functionality.

In some cases, we are solely data processors on behalf of our business partners. In these cases, we act on the instructions of the data controller, and this privacy policy does not apply to the processing.
- Analysis, research and statistics
Every year, we carry out and participate in a large number of research, development and demonstration projects which aims at generating new knowledge, sustainable development and effective solutions for the agriculture of the future. We collaborate with research institutes and companies, including agricultural companies.In this connection, we use general personal information - e.g. information about the farm's operations, production conditions, ownership and finances.
In the initial phases of a project, we process the information in order to identify the agricultural holdings that are relevant to include in the given project and in order to contact an offer to participate in the project. The treatments can, for example, include a selection of specific forms of operation or production, economic key figures, location, etc.
We process your personal data on the basis of art. 89.1 of the Personal Data Ordinance (Processing for archival purposes in the interest of society, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes ..)
In certain cases, we also pass on general personal information to research projects in which we do not participate. The transfer takes place exclusively after obtaining a written declaration from the recipient that the processing takes place on the basis of the Data Protection Act, section 10, subsection. 1 and 2 (... statistical or scientific studies of significant social significance ...)
- Secretariat service
We provide secretarial assistance for a number of collaborations of various kinds.Here we take care of, for example, maintenance and updating of member lists, convening and holding meetings, collection of membership fees, case processing and project management.
In order to be able to carry out the secretariat work, we process a number of general personal data on members, employees and board members. In connection with the administration of payments, we process CPR and account numbers.
The treatment takes place on the basis of art. 6.1.f (the balance of interests rule), where the legitimate interest is our provision of agreed secretarial assistance.
Our legal basis for processing your CPR number is the Data Protection Act, section 11, subsection. 2, no. 1 (pursuant to law), as we must make statutory reports to Tax.
- Injury treatment
We process personal data in connection with the processing of insurance and claims, including claims for damages made against other companies that have taken out insurance with us.We record information about persons necessary for processing the claim and calculating the compensation, on the basis of art. 6.1.b (Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party) and / or Art. 6.1.f (the balance of interests rule), where the legitimate interest is to be able to make a correct decision in a compensation case.
In the case of sensitive information, the treatment basis is art. 9.2.a (consent) or art. 9.2.f (Processing is necessary for legal claims to be established, asserted or defended ...).

We collect personal information from the following sources:

- Public business registers, such as e.g. CHR and CVR.
- Advisory companies in agriculture, including companies in DLBR.
- Suppliers and customers, e.g. agribusiness companies, dairies, slaughterhouses or veterinarians who have a direct financial or advisory relationship with your company.
- Other partners, e.g. bank, mortgage or auditor who has a direct financial or advisory relationship with your company.
- Other publicly available sources.
6. Disclosure of your personal information
We pass on your personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Suppliers and customers who have a direct financial or advisory relationship with your company. Disclosure is made only with the consent of you.
- Public authorities, including SKAT and the Food Authorities e.g. in the case of statutory animal registrations. Furthermore, there may be cases where we are required to pass on information to non-public authorities, e.g. insurance companies.
- Information of a purely agricultural nature is passed on in certain cases to universities and the like for use in research projects for analytical, research and statistical purposes. The disclosure is only made on the basis of an agreement on the confidential and time-limited use of the information, and that any published results may only contain anonymized information.
Personal data is not transferred to third countries outside the EU / EEA.
In some cases, we leave your personal information to data processors, including software and IT operations providers. All data processors are subject to written instructions requiring the data processor to treat your information confidentially and take appropriate technical and organizational measures against your information being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, degraded or made known to unauthorized persons, misused or otherwise processed in violation of the Personal Data Regulation.
7. Storage of your personal information
We store your personal information in accordance with, among other things, the following criteria:

Information of a purely agricultural nature, including information collected through experiments, controls or through ongoing use of our IT services (such as software developed on top of the Danish Land Database, the Cattle Database and the Economics Database) is stored as long as the information is deemed relevant to analytical, research and statistical purposes in the interest of the agricultural industry.
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights:
- You have the right to request insight, correction or deletion of your personal information.
- You also have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data and have the processing of your personal data restricted.
- In particular, you have an unconditional right to oppose the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.
